Rosemarie A McGuire

Rosemarie McGuire is Artist in Residence at the Belgian School Athens archaeological excavations at Sissi, Crete. Her ‘interpretative’ work centers on the daily working atmosphere that typifies the ‘Kephali’ site - the sheer enthusiasm, comradeship and devotion of the archaeologists, anthropologists and workers to their professions. She is a former dancer with the Royal and Sadler’s Wells Opera ballets, as well as working in theatre and in television. She is a graduate from Manchester University with a degree in art and design. She is married to archaeologist and photographer, Gavin McGuire and lives at Vrachasi, Crete.
